Your visit to our clinic
In order to contain and prevent the spread of the Corona virus, we ask you NOT to bring any companions or visitors to the clinic until further notice. Wearing face masks is mandatory throughout the campus. All UKS outpatients will be required to provide a negative rapid corona test beginning 19th of April, 2021. Antigen rapid tests with official confirmation are accepted (from test centers in cities and municipalities, pharmacies and registered physicians). The test results must not be older than 24 hours.
At the entrance of our clinic there are notice signs showing the rules and regulations on how to act in times of the Corona pandemic.
At the entrance of the eye clinic, a porter will help you comply with the required hygiene measures and will then have you fill out a questionnaire to check if you belong to a risk group. **The clinic will also provde you with face masks and disinfectants for free!
If there is no suspicion of infection with the Corona virus, the patients can visit the appropriate department following of all hygiene regulations. However, if the patients were in contact with an infected person and show symptoms related to the Coronavirus, they will be appointed to a separate floating zone for swabbing and will be examined under appropriate protective equipment.
Registration for outpatient consultations takes place with the necessary safety distance. A large plexiglass pane protects the patient and the staff.
There is a sneeze and spit guard on each of our diagnostic devices to protect patients and staff.
During medical examinations, we pay attention strict hygiene regulations . Hand and equipment are disinfected before and after each patient consultation as per normal procedures. The slit lamps in all examination rooms are also equipped with a sneeze and spit guard.

We perform a Covid test before every inpatient procedure. We will operate on the patient only after a negative result is received. Until then, the patient remains isolated in the floating area of the ward or iasquarantined at home.
