Inpatient admission
Planned admission
If an inpatient admission is planned, the first contact takes place via the registration desk of the university outpatient department / private outpatient department. Necessary exams and diagnostics are performed and the in-patient hospital stay planned if necessary.
Required documents for inpatient admission (2nd floor, room 84):
- Identity card
- In-patient referral from an ophthalmologist or family doctor
- Insurance card / health card, certificate of exemption (if applicable)
- Patients from Luxembourg / France: S2 certificate / European insurance card, Caisse Medico certificate
- Cost acceptance certificate from private insurance
- Bring all medications you are taking or at least a list of medications
- List of pre-existing conditions, previous exeamination and doctor's notes (if applicable)
