The inpatient admission is located at the beginning of the ward. Ms. Wannemacher and Ms. Klöckner will take care of making appointments and your inpatient admission to our eye clinic. When you make an appointment, they will tell you what you need for your stay in our house and will be happy to answer your questions.

Planned admission
If an inpatient admission is planned, the first contact takes place via the registration of the university outpatient department / private outpatient department. Here the patient goes through the respective examinations including diagnostics and is then admitted to the hospital if indicated.

Required documents for inpatient admission (2nd floor, room 84):

  • Identity card
  • In-patient briefing from an eye doctor or family doctor
  • Insurance card / health card, if applicable, an exemption certificate
  • Patients from Luxembourg / France: S2-card / European health insurance card, certificate Caisse Medico
    If private contract: Cost-over certificate, the private insurance
  • Bring all medication you are taking or at least a list of medications
  • If necessary, findings of previous illnesses, previous examinations and doctor's letters
