Research at the highest level
Our research areas include corneal diseases as one of the most important specialties. Our medical director, Prof. Seitz, is an international specialist in corneal transplantation. Other areas of our research are the treatment of glaucoma, the therapy of macular diseases and the development of modern lens systems for cataract surgery in collaboration with the Institute of Experimental Ophthalmology.
