Important information
- Please bring previous medical reports and all glasses you are currently using.
- Please do not forget to bring the referral slip from the ophthalmologist with you.
- Since we examine many children, including disabled children and patients with serious illnesses, we cannot always keep the waiting times short despite our best will and ask for your understanding.
- There are two changing areas in the toilet rooms for small children.
- Coffee, tea and water are available free of charge in the clinic.
What we do
- Orthoptics and strabology: examination and therapy of binocular vision and squint
- Therapy of amblyopia (squint-related decreased vision of one eye)
- Pediatric ophthalmology (treatment of any eye disease up to 16 years of age)
- Screening and treatment of premature Children
- Consultation and partner clinic of the Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine
- Examination of visually impaired and blind children, advice to their parents, adjustment of optical and electronic magnifying visual aids
- Examination and advice for visually impaired adults, fitting of visual aids
- Examination of neurologically ill patients (e.g. after a stroke)
